ACRM President
We are thrilled to welcome you back to ACRM’s IN-PERSON Annual Conference. It has been a while since we have come together, under one roof, to network and learn about the latest developments in rehabilitation research.
Our 99th Annual ACRM Conference will be held IN-PERSON 6 – 11 November 2022, with an expansive educational program, and presenters of the highest caliber. From the lively city of Chicago, join top rehabilitation professionals, and participate in the world’s largest interdisciplinary rehabilitation research conference.
There’s something extraordinary about meeting in-person. Great minds coming together in one place fuels creative energy and innovation. As our nearly 100-year reputation echoes, we are about the research, with the goal of bringing that research — the very best and latest science into practice — faster. This year’s in-person Annual Conference is the ideal place for the high-level collaboration and networking that helps us accomplish this goal and push the industry forward…together.
At ACRM, we are always interested in the latest technology. To that end, we are excited to announce that, this year, all scientific posters will be fully digital, on 65-inch, high resolution screens. No more printing and schlepping bulky posters! The new digital format will create vibrant “neighborhoods” of similar topic areas, creating a more exciting viewing experience with more opportunities for interaction, collaboration and networking.
This year, we have added 14 new topic areas, including burn rehabilitation, trauma rehabilitation, telehealth, and more. The entire list of 36 topics are available on the Conference website.
Speaking of websites, the ACRM Annual Conference has a new online home! The Conference website now lives at: conference.stratusi.org. We hope you like the new website and find it easy to use and navigate.
For 2022, we are also excited to bring you:
Now, let’s talk numbers. For the 2022 Annual Conference, we are planning for:
Plus, one high-end platform to access the conference recordings through February 2023.
Of course, there will be no shortage of opportunities for networking…and fun!
None of this would be possible without the fantastic work of the ACRM Program Committee led by Megan Mitchell, PhD, FACRM and Anne Deutsch, PhD, FACRM and the outstanding work from hundreds of presenters and the ACRM staff.
This event is made financially possible due to the support of our sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, and Institutional Supporters (back cover). Please visit them in the Online Program (ACRM.org/op).
No matter where you are or who you are; no matter where you work, no matter your job status, career level, race, nationality, geography, ethnicity, age, nor your political affiliation — you can rest assured that you are welcome and WANTED at ACRM.
If you haven’t already, please register now to secure your spot. The 6-Day WORLD PASS is the best value if you’d like to attend a Pre-Conference course — especially the highly-regarded Early Career and Leadership Development Course.
We look forward to seeing you IN-PERSON in November.
