Plenary Sessions are a cornerstone of the ACRM Annual Conference, featuring thought leaders and distinguished speakers who present on transformative research and innovations in rehabilitation. Held each year at the ACRM Fall Conference & EXPO during the conference, these sessions bring together attendees from across disciplines to explore key topics and inspire collaboration within the rehabilitation community.

Scientific Papers & Posters

A Scientific Poster (aka research poster) is a graphic presentation of a scientific paper with a required 3 – 5 minute recording and optional 3 – 5 minute LIVE presentation on-site (in Chicago). A poster display summarizes information or research concisely and attractively to help publicize and generate discussion.

SPECIAL Symposia

Identified by the ACRM Program Committee, SPECIAL SYMPOSIA refer to one or more symposium in each block of concurrent sessions, and luncheon lectures that have extra-wide appeal. The Not-to-be-missed Presentations & Award Lectures Led by Top Researchers and Clinicians. Symposia sessions are 60 minutes in length and are presented by professionals with expertise in the topic. Accepted symposia will be scheduled during the CORE conference: 27 – 30 OCT.

Selected by the ACRM Program Committee, FEATURED SESSIONS are highly anticipated and thought of as ‘mini-plenary’ events designed to engage a broad audience. These sessions are strategically scheduled with minimal concurrent programming, ensuring maximum participation.

One of the most sought-after sessions year after year is the Federal Funding Panel, where officials from key U.S. government funding agencies share invaluable insights into funding opportunities, research priorities, and policy updates. This session consistently draws a full house, making it a can’t-miss event for researchers and clinicians looking to navigate the funding landscape.

LaunchPad

The ACRM Technology Networking Group is pleased to announce LaunchPad — an exciting opportunity to pitch your company or idea to a panel of rehab industry experts and an audience of clinicians, researchers, engineers, and decision-makers to receive market feedback and win prizes.

LaunchPad is an annual competition created to highlight innovative rehabilitation technologies developed by non-profit research and engineering labs and startup companies. The competition is held during the first block of concurrent sessions on day #1 of CORE.

Re-Energize!

Developed by the ACRM Complementary Integrative Rehabilitation Medicine Networking Group (CIRM-NG), Re-Energize! sessions are designed to refresh, refocus and inspire as the instructors explore innovative, evidence-based approaches to mind-body wellness and integrative rehabilitation. While faculty details will be announced soon, attendees can expect a dynamic sessions filled with practical strategies, interactive elements, and valuable takeaways to integrate into clinical practice and daily life.
